Founded in 2015 for the purpose of Treating ALS
For nearly 4,000 years, marijuana has been used for medicinal purposes. Extensive research over the course of the past 20 years has shown that this natural, organic substance has the potential to ease the suffering of individuals with chronic illnesses.
Our mission is to provide a better quality of life for our patients without the use of laboratory produced pharmaceuticals. With proper education and training, we also hope to further a better understanding of the positive uses of cannabis therapy and dispel much of the negative propaganda associated with the medical use of marijuana.
Our History
To understand where we came from, it’s important to know the timeline of some events in our founders life.

- May, 1995: He opened a retail store selling nothing but Hemp Products in Ocean City Maryland.
- October, 2000: He opened a candy factory making candies with extracts from Hemp Plants grown in Canada.
- December, 2012: He was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease Also called: ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
- January, 2013: He started treating his own symptoms with Cannabinoid Isolates.
- February, 2015: Canna-Pharms was founded to help others suffering, with the same successful treatment regiment he found to work.
- May 2019: Canna-Pharms began dispensing low-THC cannabis to patients in the Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland area.
1995, Ocean City Hemp Shop was the nations first retail outlet selling nothing but products made from Hemp. Clothing, Hats, Lotions and even tasty Hemp Seed Treats. Opening several locations over Maryland and Pennsylvania.
2000, Hempfield Candy Company began selling the first Hemp Candies in the USA. Imported from Amsterdam, Netherlands through US Customs clearing the way for a whole line of candies, chocolates, baked goods and beverages all made with Hemp.
2012, A diagnosis of ALS(Lou Gehrig's Disease) was only a speed bump in our founders life.
2013, Medical Cannabis became his focus to enable him to treat himself for his ALS.
2015, Canna-Pharms was founded in order to treat others suffering from a wide range of illnesses with special focus on the symptoms of ALS.

Our Staff
The personalized attention we provide to our patients is nearly unheard of in contemporary medicine. Our chief cannabis expert, Michael Weaver, has been in the Cannabis Industry since 1995 founding Canna-Pharms to help others suffering with medical issues specializing in the Cannabinoid Treatment of ALS. Actively in practice for 10 years, Michael Weaver has an exemplary record of service and has a deep commitment to the betterment of the health of his patients.
Our clinical staff is highly trained in cannabis medicine and we all share the passion of the movement and tirelessly advocate on behalf of the individuals within our care.
We will always answer any and all questions you have thoroughly and believe proper education is key to understanding the many benefits of cannabis therapy.

Conveniently located off of Rt-30 at Rt-741 Rohrerstown, Pennsylvania.
We pride ourselves on having created a welcoming and judgement free environment for our patients. Located in East Hempfield Township, individuals will be greeted by calming music, a helpful and courteous staff. Efficient patient intake procedures can be completed online to dramatically reduce the time sitting in the waiting room.
Midway between Baltimore and Philadelphia, we are easily accessible to our longer traveling patients. Just as any medical practice, we have all of the tools necessary to perform medical marijuana consultaions.
In addition to cannabis therapy, we offer convenient services to our existing patients so they can skip the confusing delays in medical cannabis treatments and care.
Directions: From the Rt 30 east take the Rt-741 exit traveling east about 1 mile to Rt 23 Marietta Ave. We are located on the southeast corner of the intersection.
